By now it’s no secret: Planet Dog was one of the most important influences on my musical journey back in the day. So releasing an EP on the label of childhood heroes Banco de Gaia was already a huge honour — but being asked to remix another set of heroes, Children of the Bong, truly completed the circle. The result is a brilliant collection of remixes, featuring a host of other demigods like Zion train, to name just one.

And then there's also a new release for Dream Cycle Inc.
This EP has been in the works for a while, but we’re thrilled to finally unleash these tracks into the world. With 'Good Boy', we pay tribute to our inspirations—the Planet Dog era, Dreadzone, and many others who taught us how to infuse dub tunes with modern dance elements.
We’re also excited to finally release our track with the incredible Amalia. Her angelic vocals were recorded some time ago, and the song went through several transformations before finding its true form in this dub-inspired constellation.
Last but not least, we’re proud to have Echo Beach (home to artists like Dubmatix, Dub Syndicate, and more) backing this release.
We’re kicking off the year with an ambient side dish! We’d describe it as an ambient hybrid of Bersarin Quartett and Jon Hopkins.

What makes this release even more special is the cover artwork. Our good friend Yves Schelpe from Psy'Aviah recently captured some stunning winter scenes, and we were lucky enough to use one of his photos for the artwork of our upcoming ambient releases. (In fact, we’re planning to release another ambient single next Friday, January 10th, once again featuring one of Yves’ breathtaking shots.)
But for now, let’s start with 'Sidewalk Reverie'. This ambient track evokes the quiet beauty of a rainy journey. Picture yourself gazing through a car window streaked with rain, the world outside blurred yet glowing with the shimmer of twinkling lights. It captures the tender moment when the first rays of sunlight cautiously break through after a downpour, illuminating the reflections in puddles like nature’s mirrors. Perfect for winter walks, where your breath rises in soft clouds, it envelops you in a serene soundscape that mirrors the delicate poetry of fleeting, tranquil moments.
After debuting on Future Avenue’s Fall Sampler, the track "Infinite Void" has now blossomed into its own dedicated EP. This marks J Wølf’s first full release on the label.
The original track has been reimagined by Bram VanK, Christian J, and Lucas Donda—each infusing their unique style and perspective into the piece.

The music of Hisai is atmospheric, layered, and above all, incredibly colourful. His songs resemble a vibrant collage of these colours, which made it an absolute pleasure to work with such rich elements. I was inspired by what I’d describe as a 'Balearic vibe,' evoking the feeling of cruising through the lush green hills of Ibiza.
Even the song title carries a special meaning. 'Ekhaya' is Zulu for 'home,' and the concept explores a journey of cosmic evolution, ultimately leading to the known origins of modern humanity.
